Classic Homemade Burger

INGREDIENTS
- 900gr minced beef
- 1 egg, beaten
- ¾ cup dry breadcrumbs
- 3 tablespoons evaporated milk
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- â…› teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
METHOD
- Preheat the grill to 190 degrees Celsius
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, evaporated milk, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, and garlic using your hands. Form the mixture into 8 hamburger patties.
- Place the burgers on the grill. Cook 4-5 minutes on the first side. Flip the burgers over and cook an additional 4-5 minutes.
- If adding cheese, lay a slice of cheese on each burger patty about 1 minute before taking the burgers off the grill, so the cheese has a chance to melt.
- Serve the burgers on hamburger buns with optional hamburger toppings
