Delivery area
Thefoodshop.vn standard delivery areas are Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
If you live in any other city in Vietnam and wish to place an order please contact our Customer Service Team. We will always try to arrange a delivery to you!
Delivery fee
Orders within standard delivery area (HCMC & Hanoi)
- Order value below 1 million VND: A delivery fee will be calculated at the check-out page after entering your address. This delivery fee is based on the distance between your address and our warehouse.
- Order value  above 1 million VND: No delivery fee is applied.
Orders outside of standard delivery areas
- Order value below 1 million VND: A delivery fee of 70.000 vnd will be applied and added to your order. Additionally a courier fee* will be charged in cash by the courier actually delivering the parcel to you. This courier fee depends on your delivery address.
- Order value above 1 million VND: A courier fee* will be charged in cash by the courier actually delivering the parcel to you. This courier fee depends on your delivery address.

Delivery days and timeslots
We deliver from Monday to Friday between 10am and 5.30pm. On Saturdays we deliver between 10am and 12.30pm.
Thefoodshop.vn is closed during public holidays.
Same day delivery
To receive your order on the same day we must receive your order request by 4.30pm. Our latest available delivery slot is 5.30pm.
For orders outside of the standard delivery areas – delivery is always +2 days. No same day delivery is possible.
Delivery service
For delivery we make use of our partner LALAmove. Their couriers pick up your order at our warehouse, store it in their insulated bag and drive straight to your delivery address. With this delivery service we ensure that your products are ‘outside’ for the least amount of time possible to ensure maximum freshness.
Unsuccessful delivery
If our delivery is unsuccessful, we will contact you to arrange a second delivery. Additional fees might be charges depending on location and requested delivery. In case we are unable to contact you at the provided phone number during the first delivery the order will be returned to the warehouse and placed in a chilled environment awaiting the customers contact. We do not take any responsibility for products that might have been perished.
Delayed delivery
In case of a delay in delivery due to thefoodshop.vn, we will inform you in advance. You can agree to receive the order at a later time or have the right to cancel the order.
Returns
The quality of our products is very important to us, and every inquiry is taken very seriously.
For health and safety reasons, our products cannot be returned after having been signed for unless they have quality issues.
If you wish to exchange a product, email us and a customer service representative will be in touch soon. Please make sure to include:
– Your name & phone number
– Your order number
– The name of the product(s) in question
– A photo of the product (if applicable)
– A short explanation of the issue
Products – weights
Since meat and fish are natural products their shapes/sizes can be variable Therefor we hold the right to have a 5% discrepancy on the weight of meat and fish products
